Treatment Approach
Evidence Based
When you are investing your time and effort into treatment, we believe that you should be provided with interventions that have been proven to be effective. Therefore, we are committed to drawing from science to offer innovative treatments that have been studied at length and shown to reduce symptoms and improve quality of life. We will take time to fully assess current areas of difficulty, understand your unique traits as an individual, and develop a treatment plan that is specifically tailored to meet your needs. This process is always a collaborative one, and you will be provided with options that honor your individuality, while drawing from a scientific research base.
Length of Treatment
We are honored to be a part of your journey and are committed to seeing rapid growth in our clients. It may sound funny from a business perspective, but our goal is to work ourselves out of a job. We want to be fully present and committed to your growth process, to the extent that you are able to use the tools of therapy without us. This will look different for all clients and will be discussed in your treatment planning session. There will always be an estimated length of treatment and you will continue to check in throughout to assess progress towards your personal goals, and adjust treatment as needed. Most treatments include weekly sessions for a period of time and upon completion, clients reduce the frequency of sessions. Many clients elect to come back in for periodic “booster” sessions and the therapist may serve as more of a consultant to help you maintain gains from treatment. Our goal is to get you back into a life that is fulfilling, with the skills and resources to use along the way.
